Founded in 2016 En Avant Dance has been providing high-quality dance education to the community for 10 years. We have grown into a thriving dance studio with a strong reputation for excellence in dance training.
We are proud to partner with Safe Studios Ontario, and are following the Dance Safe protocols
All individuals including children, teachers and parents are asked to SELF SCREEN prior to entering our studio
As a Dance Mom first, I run our business with families in mind. We offer Pre-Professional Ballet classes following the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus, Pointe, Baby Ballet, Twinkle Toes, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Acro, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre. We are proud to be a Certified Studio with Once Upon a Ballet. Our Acro teachers are certified in Acrobatic Arts and/or Alixa flexibility. Jazz and Tap teachers have multiple certifications from Dance Masters of Canada, ADAPT, Artistic Dance Educators
We have a small Competitive Performing Company for those dancers looking to compete. We go to four local competitions, with little travel expense. I strongly believe that dance should be accessible for families of all budgets. En Avant Dance is a family. There is no rivalry between our Academy dancers and competitive Company dancers. I do my best to make everyone feel welcome and a valuable part of our dance family.
Our classes are taught by well rounded professional teachers and current or previous performers with teaching experience and qualifications, all with a passion for teaching and sharing their passion for dance. We have school teachers, University students and full time Dance Teachers, former Professional Ballerinas, Stage Performers and Career Dance teachers
We have studio space available during the day, as well as Saturday and Sunday evenings for Cultural dance classes, Auditions, Quinceañera waltz, Wedding First Dance, Private Classes, celebrations. Space is also available during the day Monday - Friday for Home School Learning Pods, Dance instruction. Please contact us for information and pricing.
