Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. The focus of each tap class is to improve the student’s sound clarity, rhythm and musicality, timing and phrasing.  Classes are structured in the traditional tap forma - warm-up exercises, technique and progressive movements, and on to combinations and dance routines.  Tap is highly recommended for all dancers who desire to have a well-rounded base of knowledge.
