Lauren Crowder


­Lauren has been dancing since the age of 3 and has completed training in Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Acro, Ballet, Lyrical and Contemporary at schools in London, Ottawa and Fredericton.  Lauren successfully completed RAD ballet exams, ADAPT jazz and tap exams, and completed at various dance competitions throughout Canada and the USA.  She has attended numerous  workshops  and intensives and conventions including the Joffrey Ballet Summer Program.

Lauren was later accepted to the Quinte Ballet School of Canada’s Professional Ballet Training Program and graduated this past June. During her time at Quinte Ballet, Lauren received extensive training in ballet, pointe, jazz, modern and contemporary and performed in a number of local performances including the annual Quinte Ballet Nutcracker performance. 

Lauren began assisting and teaching dance as a teenager where her passion for both teaching and learning from her students began.  Lauren is currently enrolled in the Catholic Studies for Teachers program at Kings University College leading to a degree in education.

Besides dancing, Lauren is an avid swimmer and has completed her National Lifeguard and Swimming Instructor Training.   

Lauren is thrilled to become a part of the En Avant Dance faculty and have the opportunity to continue to share her love of dance with her new students.
